Product Overview

The Pewag Doppelspur Light chain is a lighter, more economical version of the traditional Doppelspur, designed for tractors and utility vehicles that need dependable traction without the added bulk of a heavy-duty chain. It features the same proven double-link pattern for reliable grip in snow, ice, and softer terrain, but with reduced material thickness for easier handling and faster installation. Ideal for seasonal use or applications where moderate loads are expected, this chain combines practicality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Sold in pairs.

Simple Tips

Installing Your Tire Chains

01

Test fit your chains before you need them. Be sure you have the correct chains for your tire size. Consult your owner’s manual if you are unsure.

02

Lay the chains out flat on the ground to untangle and inspect them for irregularities. Make sure they are not twisted or knotted.

03

Install the tire chains on the drive wheels of your vehicle, which are typically the front wheels for front-wheel drive vehicles and the rear wheels for rear-wheel drive vehicles.

04

Check for proper clearance of your vehicle. Then, drive a short distance and check the chains to make sure they are properly secured and adjusted. Never drive over 30 MPH.
