    Q & A

    Ask a question
How do you replace the batteries on the LED beanies Lorrie asked on January 20, 2025

Hello Lorrie, I apologize for any confusion regarding your beanie caused by our listing. Depending on our stock we have two types of battery powered beanies. One type that comes with two replaceable CR2032 batteries, and one that comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. If you have the rechargeable battery version, you can pop the LED light out of its holder, and it will have a plastic cap protecting the USB stick. Once you pull that cap off you can plug the USB stick attached to the LED light into any powered USB port to charge the battery, like a USB charger or any computer USB port etc. It should have a red LED if it needs charged and that same LED will turn green when the battery is fully charged. I have updated our beanie listing adding this information also. If I am incorrect about the version of beanie you have or you would like more assistance, please give us a call at 866-437-5883 and one of our chain experts would be happy to help.
