Product Overview

Aquiline Multi Purpose Chains - when clearance is an issue and excellent traction is needed. Aquiline Multi-Purpose Chains are aggressive giving the traction needed for snow removal, but will not damage the asphalt. Manufactured from a hardened alloy steel, featuring a square link with wear bars, these chains are both durable and light weight, and with the box pattern design will not fall down between the lugs of the tire. Aquiline Multi-Purpose Tire Chains are ideal for use with compact tractors, skid steers and agricultural applications.

Simple Tips

Installing Your Tire Chains

01

Test fit your chains before you need them. Be sure you have the correct chains for your tire size. Consult your owner’s manual if you are unsure.

02

Lay the chains out flat on the ground to untangle and inspect them for irregularities. Make sure they are not twisted or knotted.

03

Install the tire chains on the drive wheels of your vehicle, which are typically the front wheels for front-wheel drive vehicles and the rear wheels for rear-wheel drive vehicles.

04

Check for proper clearance of your vehicle. Then, drive a short distance and check the chains to make sure they are properly secured and adjusted. Never drive over 30 MPH.

The guys here had good advice on what chains to get for my tractor and how they should fit . The quality of the chain, fit and construction is excellent. No more sliding sideways when using the snow pusher and much better now when i use the L or R brake to steer. I did have to relocate one side link on the inside and outside of each tire so i could get the adjuster tighter (yellow pointer). However doing so made the next link angled (blue pointer) and disproportionately put stress on the center H pattern section. Once I repositioned that next side link so it was not so angled (on inside and outside of the tires) the side chains tightened more evenly all the way around and the chains stayed centered.

Excellent well made product, included a print out for installation just in case you couldn’t get to the website from your tractor shed. After installation, my tractor climbed the hill with 5 inches of snow and didn’t slip once. Made clearing the 150 foot driveway a breeze.
